PART 1 GENERAL

1.1 SUMMARY
A. Section includes bi-fold (folding) glass wall systems with 2-, 3-, 5-, 7-, and 8-panel configurations.

1.3 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
A. Wind Load: Per ASCE 7-22 for project location.
B. Operating Cycles: Minimum 100,000 cycles without component failure per AAMA 920.
C. Impact Resistance (HVHZ): ASTM E1886 / E1996.

1.4 SUBMITTALS
A. Product Data, Shop Drawings (sealed by Florida PE), Florida Product Approval, Operating Hardware Cut Sheets, Sample of Hinges and Roller System.

1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE
A. Manufacturer: Florida Product Approval listed for proposed system.
B. Installer: Manufacturer-authorized; minimum 5 installations of similar size in Florida.

PART 2 PRODUCTS

2.1 MANUFACTURERS
A. Acceptable Manufacturers:
1. Euro-Wall Vistafold series (basis of design).
2. Other manufacturers with FPA / NOA documentation, approved prior to bid.

2.2 SYSTEM
A. Frame: Aluminum 6063-T6 with thermal break.
B. Glazing: 1-inch insulating glass with laminated impact glass for HVHZ.
C. Hardware: Stainless steel hinges, multipoint locking system, top-hung or bottom-rolling configuration as specified.
D. Sill: Low-profile or recessed track for ADA compliance where required.

PART 3 EXECUTION

3.1 INSTALLATION
A. Install per approved shop drawings and manufacturer instructions.
B. Verify structural header above the opening; folding wall is not load-bearing.
C. Adjust panels for smooth operation; lubricate per manufacturer.

3.2 FIELD QUALITY CONTROL
A. Demonstrate full operation through 5 cycles; no binding, dragging, or leakage.

3.3 WARRANTY
A. 5-year manufacturer's warranty on hardware; 2-year installer warranty.
