Miami-Dade and Broward require fenestration tested and listed under an active Miami-Dade NOA. Design criteria typically exceed 170 mph (Exposure D per ASCE 7); glazing DPs commonly run -60 to -130 psf by height and wall zone. ES8000 is rated to DP +130/-130 psf LMI.
ASTM E1996 / E1886 impact testing
Large Missile Impact (floors 1–3): a 9-lb 2x4 at 50 ft/s. Small Missile Impact (floor 4+): ten steel balls at 130 ft/s. ES8000, ES-7525 and GW-7000 all carry LMI ratings. ACG coordinates the test documentation for HVHZ permit submittals.
