Featured public-sector projects

Track record on essential facilities.

Emergency Operations Center · Polk County, FL

Haines City EOC

Florida Building Code Risk Category IV essential facility. ACG served as the glazing subcontractor to GC Pirtle Construction on this public-safety critical facility in Polk County. Glass system supplied by Aldora, an ACG manufacturer partner for commercial storefront applications requiring enhanced performance documentation.

Essential-facility designation required increased wind load calculations, enhanced anchorage documentation in submittals, and coordination with the structural engineer of record for penetration details — all completed without RFIs impacting the project schedule.

Fire Training Facility · Stuart, FL

Martin County Fire Training

Public-safety training facility in Stuart, Florida — Martin County. ACG completed the commercial glazing scope on this fire rescue training building, including impact-rated storefront systems appropriate for a facility subject to increased wind-load requirements under the Florida Building Code.

Martin County sits within a coastal wind zone; glazing specifications called for documented Florida product approvals and ASCE 7 load-path calculations consistent with the building's occupancy category. ACG coordinated submittals with the GC to meet the project's inspection timeline.
