The Project

Project LIFT is a purpose-built community facility in Hobe Sound, FL — a vocational and skills training center designed to serve the Martin County community. The building combines open program space with office and support areas, clad in bold blue and gray metal panels with a standing-seam metal roof.

Hooks Construction managed the build and brought ACG in to handle the complete ESWindows glazing package — the storefront entrance system, the large multi-panel glass door units on the facility's work bays, and all commercial windows throughout the building envelope.

The Scope

ACG supplied and installed the complete ESWindows package across the facility: the commercial storefront at the main entry, the large-format glass and aluminum overhead-style door systems on the work bay openings, and the fixed commercial windows on the office section of the building.

The large glass bay doors are the defining feature of this building's glazing package — wide aluminum frames, full-height glass panels, and the clean line of the opening edge. Every unit installed plumb and operating correctly at TCO. Hooks ran a tight site and ACG matched the pace.

The glazing package on Project LIFT Hobe Sound included youth campus envelope. ACG specified, supplied, and installed ESWindows — manufactured by ACG's seven approved partner lines: ESWindows, Euro-Wall, PGT, Allegion, TGP, Slimpact, and Aldora.

The scope was sequenced to ownership's field schedule, with weekly coordination meetings, RFI turn-around inside 24 hours, and submittals tracked against the construction critical path. ACG's three-office Florida footprint (West Palm Beach HQ, Naples, Tampa) keeps a project supervisor within driving distance of every active job site, and the Hobe Sound location pulled supervision out of our West Palm Beach office.
