Autodesk Construction Cloud Bid Network

ACG is active and searchable on BuildingConnected. GCs using Autodesk Construction Cloud can find ACG under "American Commercial Glass" in the sub database or send a direct invite to the ACG account. BuildingConnected invites reach ACG's estimating team the same business day they are sent.

BuildingConnected is the primary bid platform for ACG's existing GC relationships including DeAngelis Diamond, Suffolk, and Rycon. If your firm uses BuildingConnected and you haven't added ACG to your subcontractor database, you can add us now and invite us to any future glazing scope.

BasisBoard

ENR-Tier GC Bid Management

ACG is registered and active on BasisBoard. Multiple ACG GC partners use BasisBoard for pre-construction bid management, particularly on larger commercial and institutional projects. BasisBoard invites receive the same 48-hour response standard as BuildingConnected invites.

BasisBoard is especially common in the ENR top-400 GC tier. GCs using BasisBoard for division-level scope management can include ACG in their Division 08 subcontractor list for glazing, storefront, and curtain wall scope.

Complete Bid Package

What to include in the invite for a qualified bid.

ACG returns a qualified bid — not a placeholder number — within 48 hours of a complete package. Incomplete packages receive a response identifying what's missing, not a guess-bid. Here's exactly what a complete package includes for Division 08 glazing scope:

Required — Cannot bid without

  • Architectural drawings — floor plans, exterior elevations, and reflected ceiling plans showing glazed openings, door locations, and curtain wall extents
  • Division 08 specification — the project specification section covering storefronts, entrances, window walls, curtain walls, and/or specialty glass
  • Bid date / response deadline
  • Bond requirement — single project bond amount and whether performance and payment bonds are required
  • Project location — city, state, and county for code jurisdiction confirmation

Helpful — Improves bid accuracy

  • Schedule — substantial completion date and any milestone dates affecting glazing scope (weather-in, TCO)
  • Door schedule — if the project has fire-rated doors, automatic entrances, or hardware-intensive openings
  • Addenda issued to date — ACG bids on the current issue; addenda received after bid submission require a scope change
  • GC's standard subcontract terms — if you have non-standard payment terms, retainage, or insurance requirements, flag them early
  • Alternates — if the GC is bidding base-bid plus alternates, identify which alternates affect Division 08 scope
ACG Bid Process

What happens after you send the invite.

Invite Received — Same Business Day

BuildingConnected and BasisBoard invites are monitored daily during business hours. ACG acknowledges receipt on the same business day the invite is sent. If the package is complete, the 48-hour clock starts on receipt acknowledgment.

Package Review (Hours 1–6)

ACG's estimating team reviews drawings and specs to scope the Division 08 work. If items are missing or ambiguous, ACG sends a scope clarification request — not a hold on the entire bid. Items ACG can price with assumptions are priced with the assumption documented.

Material Pricing (Hours 6–36)

ACG prices from manufacturer-level pricing on ESWindows, Euro-Wall, TGP, PGT, Allegion, and other authorized partners. No distributor markup layer on standard products. Lead time confirmation included as part of the pricing process — ACG does not bid a product it cannot deliver within the project schedule.

Qualified Bid Submitted (Hours 36–48)

ACG returns a lump-sum bid with a scope inclusion/exclusion sheet identifying exactly what is and is not included. No hidden scope gaps. If fire-rated glazing, automatic entrances, or specialty products are included, they are called out as line items. The bid is reviewed by Connor Walsh (President) before submission.

Post-Bid Availability

ACG is available for scope review calls after bid submission. Scope leveling with competing glazing subs, value-engineering options, and alternate product pricing are all available on request. ACG does not chase GCs with repeated follow-up calls — one post-bid check-in, then we wait for the award decision.
