Critical-care glazing, delivered on schedule.
HCA Florida Cape Coral Emergency is a freestanding emergency room (FSER) — a full-service emergency facility developed by HCA Healthcare as part of their Florida Fawcett Hospital system in Cape Coral, FL.
Healthcare construction is its own discipline: hard deadlines tied to certificate of occupancy, infection control requirements during construction, and a building that needs to perform to the highest standards on day one. ACG was brought in by PHM Group to deliver the complete glazing package — and the facility opened on schedule.
ACG supplied and installed the full package using PGT aluminum framing with Vitro architectural glass — the commercial storefront systems at the main patient entrance, the ambulance bay glazing, fixed window units throughout the building facade, and all secondary glazed openings.
The completed facility.
Built for a 24/7 facility.
Full envelope package
Storefront at the main patient entrance, ambulance bay glazing, fixed windows across the facade and all secondary glazed openings — one glazing sub, one package.
PGT framing + Vitro glass
The combination delivers the thermal performance, clarity and durability a 24/7 operating healthcare facility requires. Every system was coordinated with the envelope consultants.
First-time inspections
Installed to specification and passed inspections the first time — no RFI delays and no punch-list items at final inspection, on a GC that runs tight sites with high standards.
