The development combines flagship retail, national fine dining, entertainment, boutique hospitality, and Strada at Mercato Class A multifamily - a compact urban neighborhood at the heart of North Naples. The commercial vocabulary is architectural storefront on the retail level, with residential window wall and curtainwall above.

Mercato and surrounding North Naples sit in Exposure Category C with Exposure D applying to Gulf-proximate areas like Vanderbilt Beach. Florida Building Code 8th Edition requires impact-rated glazing or approved shutter systems on every commercial opening. Post-Hurricane Ian (2022) and Hurricane Milton (2024), the hardening cycle has emphasized full impact glazing with documented Florida Product Approvals.
