The project.
HCA Cape Coral Emergency Center is located in Cape Coral, Lee County, Florida. HCA Florida Healthcare network; post-Ian Lee County. The development was led by HCA Healthcare. ACG was retained direct by the ownership team — no general contractor layer between the design intent and the field crew.
The site sits within Lee County jurisdiction, which enforces Lee County HVHZ (post-Ian) — hardened code. Commercial glazing scopes in this jurisdiction are designed for 172 mph design pressure for Lee coastal, with Florida Product Approval (FPA), Miami-Dade NOA accepted. ACG's commercial glazing license (FL CGC #1531993) and active product approval listings cover the Cape Coral market.
ACG's scope.
The glazing package on HCA Cape Coral Emergency Center included healthcare emergency center storefront. ACG specified, supplied, and installed ESWindows storefront, fire-rated TGP — manufactured by ACG's seven approved partner lines: ESWindows, Euro-Wall, PGT, Allegion, TGP, Slimpact, and Aldora.
The scope was sequenced to ownership's field schedule, with weekly coordination meetings, RFI turn-around inside 24 hours, and submittals tracked against the construction critical path. ACG's three-office Florida footprint (West Palm Beach HQ, Naples, Tampa) keeps a project supervisor within driving distance of every active job site, and the Cape Coral location pulled supervision out of our Naples office.
Why Cape Coral.
Why this matters for the Cape Coral market. HCA Cape Coral Emergency Center is not just another envelope. HCA Florida Healthcare network; post-Ian Lee County. Subcontractors who deliver here build a body of evidence GCs and developers can verify — first-pass inspection clearance, on-time turnover, accurate submittals, no callback claims. Those four metrics are how a glazing sub gets called back, and they are the entire reason ACG was selected for this scope.
For developers and GCs evaluating subcontractors for similar work in Cape Coral or surrounding Lee County, HCA Cape Coral Emergency Center is on our portfolio precisely because it represents the standard of execution we hold across every project, regardless of size. The 350-square-foot Waxin's storefront on Clematis Street and the 60,000 SF Panther National clubhouse run on the same field discipline.
"Florida glazing isn't optional anymore — the wind code, the impact requirements, the submittal volume. HCA Cape Coral Emergency Center ran clean because we built our submittals to the Lee reviewer's standard from day one."
