The Project

Storage Rentals of America is a national self-storage operator known for well-built, architecturally considered facilities — and their Vero Beach location is no exception. Two stories, bold red-and-white brand identity, and a two-story glazed office tower at the main entrance that anchors the entire building's street presence.

Conkling & Lewis brought ACG in to execute the glazing package using PGT systems — the curtainwall on the office tower, the commercial storefront at the lobby entry, and the commercial windows on the office sections of both elevations.

The Scope

ACG supplied and installed the complete PGT glazing package: the two-story curtainwall system on the entrance tower — the most prominent and technically demanding element on the building — full-height glass framed by the red accent columns. The storefront entry below. And the commercial window units on the flanking office sections on both the front and side elevations.

Every one of those windows with the red awnings above them sits in a PGT frame ACG installed. Consistent reveals, consistent sightlines, clean installation to the mock-up spec. The building opened on time.

The glazing package on Storage Rentals of America Vero Beach included storefront entry. ACG specified, supplied, and installed PGT impact — manufactured by ACG's seven approved partner lines: ESWindows, Euro-Wall, PGT, Allegion, TGP, Slimpact, and Aldora.

The scope was sequenced to ownership's field schedule, with weekly coordination meetings, RFI turn-around inside 24 hours, and submittals tracked against the construction critical path. ACG's three-office Florida footprint (West Palm Beach HQ, Naples, Tampa) keeps a project supervisor within driving distance of every active job site, and the Vero Beach location pulled supervision out of our West Palm Beach office.
