The Project

StayApt Suites is a growing national extended-stay hotel brand built for guests who need a place that functions like an apartment, not a hotel room. Their Lafayette, Louisiana location is a four-story, full-service property with a distinctive exterior: dark brick base, blue and white panel accents, and a multi-story curtainwall entry tower that defines the brand's street presence.

This project represents ACG operating outside Florida — a national GC, a national hospitality brand, and a glazing scope that required the same precision and coordination ACG delivers on every project regardless of geography. Rycon Construction brought ACG to Lafayette because they needed a glazing sub they could trust. ACG delivered.

The Scope

ACG executed the complete glazing package for the building: the multi-story curtainwall system on the main entry tower — the signature architectural feature visible from the parking lot and the road — the commercial storefront at the lobby entry, and the window units on all four floors across both wings.

The twilight photo captures what a well-executed curtainwall looks like when the building is occupied and lit from within. Every mullion aligned, every glass unit seated correctly, the lobby glowing behind the glass exactly as the architect intended. That's what ACG brings to every project it takes on — in Florida or anywhere else.
