The project.
Aspen Dental Englewood is a new free-standing, multi-tenant retail building in Englewood, Charlotte County, Florida, with Aspen Dental and AT&T as tenants. ACG worked as the glazing subcontractor to general contractor M. E. Construction, Inc. of West Melbourne.
Charlotte County enforces the Florida Building Code, and the storefront on this building is rated for large and small missile impact.
ACG's scope.
The glazing package was the ESWindows ES-8000 aluminum storefront system with storefront entrances at the tenant bays, set into the building's brick veneer facade. ACG submitted the product approval and shop drawings, then supplied and installed the system.
ACG signed the subcontract in November 2022 and completed the scope in 2023 at the original contract amount, with no change orders.
