The project.
KLUS Lighting Showroom is located in Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida. KLUS LED facility built as a showroom for their lighting; finished interior is a working exhibition. The development was led by KLUS Design USA. Proctor Construction served as general contractor.
The site sits within Indian River County jurisdiction, which enforces Florida Building Code (FBC) coastal. Commercial glazing scopes in this jurisdiction are designed for 150 mph design pressure, with Florida Product Approval (FPA). ACG's commercial glazing license (FL CGC #1531993) and active product approval listings cover the Vero Beach market.
ACG's scope.
The glazing package on KLUS Lighting Showroom included two-story entry storefront, side facade punched windows, full envelope. ACG specified, supplied, and installed ESWindows ES-9000 storefront, ESWindows impact-rated punched windows — manufactured by ACG's seven approved partner lines: ESWindows, Euro-Wall, PGT, Allegion, TGP, Slimpact, and Aldora.
The scope was sequenced to Proctor Construction's field schedule, with weekly coordination meetings, RFI turn-around inside 24 hours, and submittals tracked against the construction critical path. ACG's three-office Florida footprint (West Palm Beach HQ, Naples, Tampa) keeps a project supervisor within driving distance of every active job site, and the Vero Beach location pulled supervision out of our West Palm Beach office.
Why Vero Beach.
Why this matters for the Vero Beach market. KLUS Lighting Showroom is not just another envelope. KLUS LED facility built as a showroom for their lighting; finished interior is a working exhibition. Subcontractors who deliver here build a body of evidence GCs and developers can verify — first-pass inspection clearance, on-time turnover, accurate submittals, no callback claims. Those four metrics are how a glazing sub gets called back, and they are the entire reason ACG was selected for this scope.
For developers and GCs evaluating subcontractors for similar work in Vero Beach or surrounding Indian River County, KLUS Lighting Showroom is on our portfolio precisely because it represents the standard of execution we hold across every project, regardless of size. The 350-square-foot Waxin's storefront on Clematis Street and the 60,000 SF Panther National clubhouse run on the same field discipline.
"The Vero Beach project is in our portfolio because the work is correct. We don't put projects on the page that we couldn't put a GC on the phone with."
