Forbes Five-Star resort 10+ years; Preferred Hotels Legend Collection; 309 guestrooms; 42,000 SF spa; 7 acres Atlantic beachfront. The development was led by Eau Palm Beach (formerly Ritz-Carlton). ACG worked as the glazing subcontractor to general contractor West Construction.
The site sits within Palm Beach County jurisdiction. Palm Beach County is not in the HVHZ (Miami-Dade and Broward only). It is a wind-borne debris region. Commercial glazing scopes in this jurisdiction are designed for 170 mph design wind speeds for coastal exposure. Florida Product Approval is the code path, and Palm Beach County also accepts Miami-Dade NOA documentation. ACG's scope.
The glazing package on Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa included seven-phase glazing renovation. ACG specified, supplied, and installed Euro-Wall bi-fold ocean wall at Polpo, ESWindows storefront, custom curved glass arched windows, decorative entrance doors.
The scope was sequenced to the general contractor's field schedule, with weekly coordination meetings, RFI turn-around inside 24 hours, and submittals tracked against the construction critical path. ACG's three-office Florida footprint (West Palm Beach HQ, Naples, Tampa) keeps a project supervisor within driving distance of every active job site, and the Manalapan location pulled supervision out of our West Palm Beach office.
