The site sits within Palm Beach County jurisdiction. Palm Beach County is not in the HVHZ (Miami-Dade and Broward only). It is a wind-borne debris region. Commercial glazing scopes in this jurisdiction are designed for 170 mph design wind speeds for coastal exposure. Florida Product Approval is the code path, and Palm Beach County also accepts Miami-Dade NOA documentation. The glazing package on Shoppes at Westlake Point included retail center. ACG specified, supplied, and installed ESWindows - manufactured by ACG's seven approved partner lines: ESWindows, Euro-Wall, PGT, Allegion, TGP, Slimpact, and Aldora.
The scope was sequenced to SISCA's field schedule, with weekly coordination meetings, RFI turn-around inside 24 hours, and submittals tracked against the construction critical path. ACG's three-office Florida footprint (West Palm Beach HQ, Naples, Tampa) keeps a project supervisor within driving distance of every active job site, and the Westlake location pulled supervision out of our West Palm Beach office.
